Update: They are so good I bought another pair for my recently added second BMW X2. They fit and look great while still providing easy access to your key fob's buttons. Obviously, they pretty much stay in a pocket or purse and are rarely picked up, especially if you have easy access. So the main advantages are that they have a fairly thin profile and offer protection against scratches. resistance to it. It also came with two different length metal rods for use with or without a leather strap/hook. Nice surprise and extra details that I didn't expect. The remote stays in place and is easy to use too. While access to the panic button on the remote isn't clearly visible due to the pivot cover, it's still accessible and hopefully doesn't require regular access. This didn't increase the fob's volume and kept it from being scratched by my keys.
