Very glad I didn't use a VESA mount until I discovered that my ASUS Designo MX27AQ doesn't have a VESA mount. So yes, look at the photos, the adapter works perfectly, very strong metal, no problems with the attachment. IF you're looking at the screen from above you're fine, but if you have a tall screen and you're looking from below you'll see this mount as it sits. 3/4 under the monitor itself (this is how ASUS designed their monitor)
