I almost took off a star because it's too small for me. I can wear it, but it flatters the length for an elegant woman. I measured it and it is the described length. Therefore I give 5 stars. It's charming. Not tiny like many others I've bought (and returned because it exaggerated my plush size on a novel my size), not so huge that it looks like costume jewelry, it's just right. Tall enough to be reasonable for my height of 20.5ft 5in and thin enough to be believable (gold, diamonds). I love it. Even though the necklace is a bit shorter than I prefer, I carry an extension with me. It's good. I never liked faux jewelry enough to buy an extension cord. I feel elegant but not pretentious. It was an unexpected joy. The ONLY 2 cons: 1. It seems a bit touchy despite being real fixation and jewels, it would be exactly the same, neutral rather than negative, and 2. I have fibromyalgia which gives me numbness in my fingertips. The clasp is much smaller than I'm used to, albeit in terms of design. Cotton is on the left side too, and I've had it on the right side all my life. It just means I have to ask someone else to put it on for me. which I think would be muggy, or I could just buy an extension with magnets, a screw, or some other locking method. I love it so much I can get it in any color.
