I ordered a pair of these shorts from Revain Wardrobe along with two other running shorts from different brands. These were the only shorts I kept from this order. I recently bought another pair of these shorts in a different color based on my experience with the first pair. Your reviewer is 6'2"; I wear medium. As per the promotional images, their edges are no closer to my knees than my fingertips. These are running shorts, but they don't have a high split at the hip. For "leg day." Speaking of the phone case, it's made of a very flexible material and fits an iPhone 6s perfectly. The Phone rides in the area where the tailbone connects to the spine, if you will, and it took me a few miles to get used to it, but the pocket is snug enough to keep the phone from shifting or bounces around.The complaint is with the tip.It has the starter logo printed in gummed ink which makes tying the knot more labor intensive than it needs to be.Once knotted it doesn't unravel as much though light, and a double knot is not necessary. All in all a functional garment with useful features at a reasonable price.
