Undoubtedly this product is expensive. Almost $100 for cleanser and conditioner. It took my hairstylist about a month to notice - because I've lost weight in the back area and I can't see it that well myself - but she reported that she noticed small hairs were starting to grow. I've been using it for 6 months now and my hair continues to grow. I don't notice any thicker hair because hair growth matches the rate of hair loss. But I'm happy because it stopped the net hair loss. Just follow their directions — leave the cleanser on for five minutes, rinse, then apply a conditioner, then rinse — and it really works. I've been using Nioxin for years but it hasn't helped stop the thinning. But Activ has kept the status quo with my hair. And that's good enough for me.
