This massager is very quiet but powerful and does its job perfectly. I'm glad I got it. I don't use attachments very often, just use one or none and it's perfect for massaging the neck and upper back. I also used it once on my scalp when I had a bad headache and it felt so good. Has different settings if you want it to hit hard or soft and I thought it wouldn't hit my hard back hard enough but I was wrong. I keep it ready by my chair. Also a good long cord.
