Ideal for 2 months+

Perfect fit for my 5 month old baby. I think it would have been just as good when she was 3 months old. I don't care about the top. I tuck it in, making sure the little ball doesn't bother her. I don't mind letting them use it. At night, but I think during the day it's best when she skates and is supervised in case the ball ever comes off or she tries to put it in her mouth. Plus it's perfect and I love it.
