My wife and I have been looking for new steps that go all the way to the floor but I spoke to the guy who had them and he said if you need them Put the steps up, the dirt goes straight into the mobile home. So I thought why not try this thing. This mount is exactly what we needed. All we need to do is adjust the height of the support after installation and it will be stable all the time. We did a bit of boondocking and I decided to put a piece of wood under him to keep him from drowning in the mud of the field. It works well, supports my fat butt and is easy to set up. We didn't have to buy new steps and I don't have to worry about patching wet and dirty steps in our van.
