If you need to carry 4 or more bags when you get home from the store, then you know that carrying bags can make your fingers uncomfortable if you: A) have weak fingers and heavy bags or B). the long way from the car to the house, or C) you carry 8 to 12 bags out of the car like me. And it's a long way for me too. I just want to make 1 trip to the car. I have 2 of these pens. At best I had 8 bags on 1 handle, but with 2 handles it's an average of 4 to 6 bags. The shape of the handle ensures that it is comfortable to hold. The pen doesn't dig into your fingers like others claiming the same. Have you ever walked to the front door only to find your keys are still in your pocket? So now you have to stow all the bags, get the keys and then take each bag again.
