We have been using this dog food for 3 or 4 years. We recently placed an order and the bag arrived on May 24th. We started using the new bag last week and since then we have visited the vet twice (this does not include all the calls and texts we sent to the vet asking for help). Last Saturday morning we woke up with diarrhea. to the vet but since it was the first day I thought maybe it's a bug or something and it will sort itself out. My dog has never had stomach problems, never vomited or had diarrhea. My vet advised me to feed her chicken and rice for a few days. She also stopped drinking water. So I fed her chicken and rice until Monday night and her normal bowel movements were back so I switched her back to dry food and when I woke up the nightmare started all over again. Took her to the vet on Tuesday as we would go 3 full days without water other than what I put in her food. I was given 2 medications, a new dog food and a probiotic. Normal bowel movements returned. The vet also advised me to refrain from feeding grain-free foods as long-term intake is associated with heart disease. We did fecal, heartworm tests, test after test. All are negative. Still doesn't want to drink water.
