I have a $2000 ASUS PG27UQ alongside an Acer VG272. Acer comes VERY close to Asus' color/contrast performance. For those of you worried that the IPS 240 might be fake, don't worry, it's not fake. Is it as fast as 240Hz TN panels? I don't think so, but I think it's very close. There is a noticeable difference in motion clarity when going from the Asus 4K at 120Hz to the Acer at 240Hz. I originally wanted a 1080p screen for the Switch that could also give me 240Hz on Windows 10, but should have a decent picture quality for my work. I went through three monitors trying to find something that met all the requirements. Acer impressed me. I am impressed. 4/5 stars for picture quality - because it's 1080p. If you beat everyone on the market with 1440p IPS 240Hz you will sell any monitor.
