Review on H2OSUP 10.6ft Inflatable Paddle Board: Durable SUP with Backpack & Kayak Seat Compatibility by Mark Cole

Revainrating 5 out of 5

My new beach must be!

I was so glad I got this just in time for my summer trip to Tahoe! Over the years I've mostly rented paddleboards (hardboard) on various lakes and played with a few inflatable paddleboards, so I had high expectations when I packed this board for my recent vacation to Tahoe. Simply put, I can't say enough good things about this board! Firstly, I LOVED how compact and light the paddleboard was as it made mini-walking downwind a lot easier than carrying a rigid board. Also, I thought the bag it came in held all of its accessories well - definitely a nice bonus! The board also comes with a bag, leash, paddle, fin and repair kit which I liked as it meant I didn't have to hunt for parts. More experienced paddlers may want to choose accessories from other brands, but for beginners the included accessories will make it easier to get started. She (the surfboard) is just as great in the water as it is on land! My friends who have never kayaked were able to balance on it and paddle a bit in shallow water as the board is wide and therefore much more stable than some of the narrower boards I have ridden. And they kept getting back on the board after swiping, as falling on an inflatable board was almost painless, unlike L on a rigid board. As a slightly experienced rower, I also liked the durability of the material as I've taken it out on vacation, but I've never had any problems with deflation. The only thing that surprised me was that it was a bit slower than a hardboard because of its width, but I think that's not a real disadvantage since I can use this inflatable SUP to relax and rent/buy a hardboard if I do the need for speed. In general, this is my new must-have for a beach vacation!
