Not suitable for distance vision

Got these because I was tired of wearing my full reading glasses and constantly putting them on and off. They were decent enough for reading, about as strong as my similarly spec'd reading glasses. The problem occurs in the transition zones for intermediate and especially distance vision. First, the far end has zoom, although the seller claims it doesn't, it's definitely blurry when viewing distant objects, so much so that you can't drive it. Second, the area where distance vision is present is very small. If I had to judge that, I'd say maybe the top quarter of the glasses. So to use distance vision you would need to lower the glasses onto your nose and tilt your head. return. The center field of view was also quite small, which helped a little when working with the computer, but also made everything blurry at more than 3 feet away. Bottom line, they worked well for readers, but then I just had to buy readers. Intermediate viewing was questionable and did not bring any improvement over the mere use of readers. The distant view was terrible and completely unusable.
