That can't be right. You insert a thin piece of rubber that MUST go into a groove on the bottom to stay in place. The more you try to stick it in, the worse it gets. I've attached a video and some photos showing the problem. These are 4 of 7 that I opened to see. If you're not worried about the tightness, you could probably use it. I will be back as soon as possible! I may have received a faulty batch but they are useless to me. Otherwise the quality seems good I think. The lid is held in place with a clear pop-up that releases when you push it in and lift off one end, then an internal spring with another piece of sand material as the top, then a thin piece of silicone sits in a groove to it Push it up for an airtight seal. That does not work.
