I bought this for my then 4 year old daughter as a Christmas present as she showed an interest in photography. I read the reviews carefully and watched a few video reviews. I felt comfortable buying this in its price range. As soon as it arrived (after the date it was supposed to arrive) it was boxed and put away as a gift a few weeks later. My daughter was happy! It's light and cute, easy to hold in small hands, and while the user interface was a bit odd (it's not clear which keys are left-right, up-down, and enter), it was easy to photograph. We also charged it ahead of time as electronics usually run out. Plenty of transfer paper too. She took about 15 photos, after which the "Low Battery" light came on. I turned it off and plugged it in to charge. The next day we turned it on to take more photos. but he didn't turn on. Plugged it back in and turned it on but the camera didn't take a picture while it was plugged in so I tried charging it again. Still dead. I contacted Revain about the battery failure and they contacted me with the manufacturer. The manufacturer was very friendly and responded quickly and sent a new camera. We received it as soon as possible and started charging immediately. This time the camera held a charge! My daughter took three photos and then something in the paper ejection mechanism stopped working. I went through everything and didn't find anything broken or superfluous. Those are two disappointments. I've kept trying to see if I can get it to work and it's definitely another bad camera. I didn't bother contacting the manufacturer this time as I've pretty much given up on this particular camera and plan on getting a more reliable brand for it in the future.
