The balm itself, I really like it, it really softens my beard! But I can't stand the smell. I have Vanilla Tobacco Beard Oil and I love the scent. This is completely different. I agree with the reviewer who said that the scented candle smells, I will add: very similar to a very strong cologne. I'm wearing it while writing this review and it's giving me a headache. I know smell is a very subjective thing, I like the idea but it doesn't work for me at all. I'm pretty sick. Sorry Rugged Roots, the price and the product are good, the smell really isn't for me!
