Here's my story: My iMac's screen looked fine from the start, except when I took a closer look. The screen surface clearly exhibited coating inconsistencies, causing small areas of the screen to become somewhat blotchy. Apparently my screen didn't have enough anti-oleogen coating. I dusted the screen tirelessly, but the coverage hasn't improved over time. I read that ScreenDr might work. I put some liquid on a microfiber cloth and lightly wiped the surface of the monitor. After a few swipes, my screen looked brand new. Apparently, ScreenDr offers a razor-thin layer of protection. I've never had good luck with "wonderful" protective coatings, but this has really helped me.
