Nice Mixing Jar. I was hoping the hatched pattern would improve traction, but the groove edges are smooth and don't help. Glass is lighter than what it replaces; The wall is a little thinner than we would like, the bottom is not as thick and heavy as we would like. On the other hand, the heavier one I had fell and broke, so maybe this one is better. It just doesn't have the weight I'd like it to have. The glass was packaged very well for shipping. The relatively pointed "pouring spout" seems less likely to fall off than a rounder one. The glass seems good for the price.
