I have been buying Tignanello bags for several years. This leather bag is of the same quality except for the lining material. The Tignanello bags I have purchased are lined with thick satin material. This bag has a high quality lining material; it's just not satin. I confess I liked the feel of the satin. But I also really like all the other features of this bag. To be clear, the lining material of this bag is also of excellent quality, just not as soft to the touch as satin. I don't expect it to break or anything like that. The only feature of Tignanello bags that I didn't like were the handles. The edges of the leather are sealed with a black rubbery substance. They look good but after about a year of use they start to crack or peel off. The designers of this bag created a handle with only one seam sealed with the same sealant, but it is in the center of the handle. Having just bought this one I can't know for sure but I strongly suspect this pen will wear much better than Tignanello pens. I saw a comment from another reviewer that the handle was sewn backwards. I totally disagree and I really like this design. With this design, the stress/wear point is on the leather, not the gasket material, and so should not have the same breakage problem. Unless it wears out a lot differently than I expected, I'll definitely be on the lookout for this brand in the future. At least based on my first impressions, I can highly recommend the product and the manufacturer.
