Review on Mirkit FTDI USB Baofeng Programming Cable Model 5: The Ultimate Multi-Device Flashing Solution for Baofeng, Wouxun, Kenwood, Mirkit, Motorola, and Yaesu Radios by Meechie Camlin

The cable itself looks physically well made, but it failed where it counted. Plugged into my laptop, received a signal, connected the radio but the cable refused to transmit/receive. It was advertised as plug and play but it is not. My Lenovo is running the latest version of Windows, so I'm not missing anything. I did some research and found forum posts saying I might be missing a driver for the ftdi chip. Didn't want to mess around with my laptop much, recently bought it for 2k and didn't want to put a download in it that wasn't 100% trustworthy. Tried and tried the next day and then gave up and sent the cable back as it wasn't worth my time to get it working.
