was damaged, installed and connected to the electric fence wire, you have to run the wire up and through several handles so I had to put an insulator in the roof around the wire To secure the bolt is about 8" long so it was easy to drill a hole (apply gasket to the base), insert into the hole, go underneath and tighten the nut (uses a thumb washer under the nut) to fit snugly my needs
