I do not text or pick up my cell phone while driving! If necessary, I use Bluetooth technology. In addition, my car shows me whether I have to accept or reject a call, which can be activated via the steering wheel. I never have to touch the phone again when it's in the holder. This "holder" fits conveniently into the cup holder on the center console and holds your phone in place for charging without tangling the cord. The side struts of the holder fold into the side of the cell and hold it in place. The release button is a bit inconvenient as it is on the back of the holder which would be my main complaint.
