I was going to buy the gold ones but they seem too yellow so I was interested in these bronze ones although I was still skeptical because they do more than anything others looked brown. I'm so glad I was wrong. They turned out to be a nice antique gold color that went well with what I was doing. Maybe I'm used to waxing candles which is why they surprised me as they were extremely hard and didn't feel like wax at all when dry. It felt more like plastic than wax, but I don't think that was the problem. I also only used one star per application and that was usually enough.
