Review on Vintage Laptop Backpack College Bookbag by Wendy Garcia

Not exactly ergonomic.

Nice bag. I've been using it for two days now and it feels sturdy. Fits my 15.6 laptop. The main compartment can hold maybe two thick textbooks, so it's not very roomy, but roomy enough. The two front pockets have wide openings for easy access. There are no organizational pockets inside but there are in the main compartment. I like that there is a zip in the lower front pocket because I hate magnetic closures (not sure). The side pockets are good but they need to stretch a lot to store things. A couple of minuses: the straps are thick and sewn tightly together at the top. Thick straps dig a little into the neck. The tightness of the straps at the top makes this bag tight around the shoulders. It feels like the tight straps are pulling my shoulders back (good for posture I think?), which isn't very comfortable in that regard. The bag is also very heavy and leans away from you. With a laptop/books in tow, the bottom of the bag rests against the lower back and the top leans back from the shoulders. Adjusting the tension of the straps helps a little but doesn't solve the problem. I can trim the straps so the bag rests on my upper/mid back and the bag still leans that way. Shorten the straps, then I will find it difficult to take off/put on the bag. And all I have are my stationery in my top pocket. All in all a nice sturdy bag. Decent place to carry things. The ergonomic design should be reviewed for the next design or version.
