Review on Visionary Short Sleeve Prim Preux by David Perez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Comfortable and beautifully cut polo shirt

When I buy a polo shirt, the first thing I look for is how it feels. Material. When buying online, of course, I have no way of doing this. So I had some concerns about buying this shirt. This short-sleeved Vision polo shirt from Prim + Preux for men arrived quickly. Here are my impressions: The t-shirt came in a clear plastic sleeve. Easy to remove, there are no creases on the shirt. Instant impression: Nicely cut, material is not flimsy, stitching seems well done. Collar: LOVE the collar! Most polo shirts have soft colors and roll easily. Consequently, they begin to lie down precisely during the day. This collar is a little stiffer - not as much as a shirt, mind you, but it holds its shape well. Material: Soft - ALMOST like soft cotton, but there's something different about this shirt. It's like a cotton-poly blend that feels more like cotton in the hand and against the skin. It's breathable but doesn't feel like a moisture-wicking material (it doesn't feel "plasticky"). Cut: This shirt is slightly narrower at the waist. I wear large with polo shirts and this one is a little tighter around the waist. Not too tight, mind you (I wouldn't wear it if it showed a bulge around my waist). But if you are younger and well cut you will love this shirt. It works for me at 64. But I don't have my 30-year-old body anymore, if you know what I mean. Sleeves: The sleeves are a bit shorter than I'm used to. Again, they are not too short and are more in line with a more modern style. My wife likes the way the shirt looks on me. I will definitely be buying more of these as they are practical and look a bit sportier than my other polos. I would give 4.5 stars if I could. For me, 5 stars is perfection, which is why I didn't give a full 5 stars. But it's close.
