I bought this after wanting to replace some carbs with healthier options. After seeing all the food blogs raving about zucchini pasta, I knew I had to get involved. The design is very compact (which I like more than a freestanding spiralizer which would take up a lot of space in the kitchen. I like that it has two sides (one for thin spirals, one for thicker spirals), although IMO they are very similar in size.I've only used this for zucchini but it sliced them well.My only complaint (and I'm not sure if it's a design flaw or all spiralizers are like this) is that I always end up with this a 2" conical protrusion that I have to fish out and julienne myself. I wish there was a nozzle that would push through the rest of the veg without injury. handy. Since the thing is covered in blades it was nice to easy to use a brush to clean everything and won't mess up kitchen sponges or hurt your hands.
