Review on πŸ”’ CHESONA iPad Pro 12.9 Case 2020: Keyboard, USB-C Hub, Backlit, Pencil Holder - Black by Heather Rheault

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Everything I needed in one suitcase and more. Durability is questionable.

I was nervous about spending that much money on a case, especially after so many previous experiences of keyboards not lasting or living up to expectations, especially with some of the lower rated reviews. But this one has come a long way. The ability to seamlessly switch between the keyboard and taking notes with the Apple Pencil was important and tests everything. Quickly attach and reattach, the flat back prevents the camera from rubbing the surface when writing notes. The keyboard is smooth with no unusual layout. Some have complained about how unwieldy it makes your tablet, makes it heavier and drains battery life a little faster, which is to be expected with everything connected as is, but it's easy to toggle on and off when you're not with the keyboard via the switch on the back. The pencil holder keeps your pencil safe. I've seen some reviews saying it can't be moved past 90 degrees, that's inaccurate, it can go much further than 90 degrees. But if the angle is 45 degrees or less then the case is heavy enough to close by itself, no problem for me but maybe for someone. But I definitely recommend it. I will update the information after using this case for a long time. Update: It's been about a month since I received this case and I use it non-stop for school and entertainment. I came back to this review because this case was fine until recently. Hinge instability which gets worse after prolonged use, the charging port on the keyboard has stopped working, not entirely sure why, and the battery drain seems to have gotten worse too, my tablet's battery is lasting less and less. on the charger, even using the switch to turn it off.
