My wife has to wear these braces quite often as she has had carpal tunnel pain in both her hands and wrists for years. She had surgery a few years ago which was supposed to fix the problem or at least relieve most of the pain, but actually seems to have only made it worse (I've heard and read that this type of surgery is usually not very successful, but all I know for sure is how it worked for her). When I happen to see these braces while shopping, I usually stop and check them to make sure they're something different from the bunch of braces she has at home. I know how painful it is for her and I always hope to find something that relieves her pain more than what she is currently using. When I saw these braces here at Revain they looked a little different than the long ones she has and the description made them sound like they were more comfortable and still had a pliable piece of metal inside. I gave her one to see if she likes it and if she likes it I'll take the left one. She wore them for about 10 days and she said they are much more comfortable than her other braces, not as long as others but still covering the areas she has trouble with. She said that while this brace serves the same function as the others, it is much more comfortable to wear for long periods and relieves her pain just as much, and sometimes more, than what she already has. Nothing will take away all her pain when it gets bad, she understands that very well but she likes this bandage more than others and I have already ordered the left one. The price of each is a few dollars more than any we've bought over the years, but if they work better for them that's not even considered. She is very happy with this brace and believes that anyone experiencing similar carpal tunnel syndrome pain should give it a try. Claims to be a great $20 product for the relief it can give you.
