This product was recommended by a relative who ordered it and was very satisfied. I ordered this last month and was very happy with the finish and appearance. Functionally it works great and provides great soft protection for my MacBook Air. I found an unexpected benefit yesterday when I set the case down when my MacBook was too close to the cooler which was leaking as the ice melted. As you can see from the pictures the closed end of the sleeve was in contact with water. Luckily I found the problem in time but the case managed to absorb most of the water. While some moisture did seep through (and could have gotten through the case since it's not waterproof), it offered enough protection and absorbed most of the moisture, so water didn't affect the MacBook. Unfortunately (as can be seen in the photos) the sleeve is stained and unfortunately has lost some of its beautiful appearance, but I'm satisfied with how well it protected my MacBook Air. Let's hope the manufacturer can offer a way to restore sleeve coating uniformity!
