Edit 1/25/20: I'm changing my rating from 5 stars to 2 after using it for 2 months. I admit I should have checked everything when I got the second one, but I still get annoyed. After a month of use I finally decided to use a USB cable instead of batteries as batteries drain pretty quickly. The connector and cable were incredibly tight. I ended up turning it on but it wouldn't turn on. I then unplugged the cable and ended up taking out the piece of metal in the mirror. Now I can't use the USB cable at all and can only use batteries which I have to replace every 3 weeks. I wish the performance on this one was better. Received defective device and sent replacement immediately. So far no problems with the second one. Original: This is a very beautiful and bright mirror when it is on. XL is also much better than the standard size. Additional mirror height and width is an additional $10. Two minuses - no power adapter and the cord is very short. It's 2 feet long so if you don't have an outlet here I'd have 4 AA batteries ready. You have to place the base of the stand on the mirror, but this will literally snap 2 pieces of plastic into place. The mirror tilts very easily and stays in place as you move it where you want it. I hope there won't be any problems with the second one.
