Review on Schmidt's Natural Deodorant Cedarwood + Juniper 2.65 Oz (6 Pack): Long-lasting Odor Protection in Bulk by Lee Reyna

Frustrated with deodorants and antiperspirants

A few years ago I bought Schmidt's because I was looking for a natural deodorant and fell in love with it. It was a little harsh, but at least it kept my sweat to a minimum and I didn't stink at the end of the day. When my deodorant arrived a few years ago it had little hard balls of something in it (like in this picture). I contacted the company and they tried to tell me that these things happen with natural deodorant and they would send me a replacement. but the replacement was exactly the same. So I decided to make my own deodorant. It takes a little time and causes a mess, but I've had good results. I've been making my own deodorant for years, but a few weeks ago I got too lazy and decided to give Schmidt another try. After all, they certainly fixed the problem. But they didn't. And now that I've been making my own deodorant for years, I can tell you that the little round hard balls didn't show up in the shipping process. They came about because they rushed the process and didn't let the wax (I use beeswax. I'm not sure what they use) melt completely. This is the most frustrating part of the process, but if it's not done right, here's what you'll get. I gave it 2 stars because I love this scent but Schmidt's tried to rush the process and created a disappointing product. I guess I'll stop being lazy and make my own from now on. **Note: If you buy the sensitive version of Schmidt, you may not be disappointed. I tried it and it was much better but more expensive.
