Beautiful dress, but slightly faded after the first wash. Emphasis on the word "a little". I only noticed it up close. The lace mid-band isn't itchy or uncomfortable (I was concerned). The fit is true to size. My daughter is on average three, almost four years old. I bought size 3/4. It fit her just like any dress I'd bought at the local department store.
