I first got this Fitbit after getting the Alto and the HR2 and the HR3. I was using an Android device and the Versa2 worked fine for a while before I had sync issues or the device disconnected and wouldn't reconnect with a Fitbit addon reset or reinstall of Versa. I thought the problem was with Fitbit so I got a replacement that had the same issues. I eventually got an iPhone and had no issues syncing or disconnecting. So if you have an Android I would be tired of buying this device. Alto and HR3 worked fine with my Android so you might want to try one of them.
