This case is a hard, clear case that snaps onto the top and bottom of your Chromebook. It has a light texture so it's not slippery or shiny. The color is exactly as shown and is transparent enough to show the Chromebook logo. The case profile is very thin. It doesn't really add any noticeable bulk to the Chromebook, so it still fits up my sleeve. Of course, that also means there's not much impact protection. I wouldn't suggest that you drop a Chromebook and expect it to be fine. This isn't a problem for me as I mainly have the lid to keep my Chromebook clean. So far I am satisfied with the purchase. If anyone is wondering if the case fits the HP Chromebook 14 G1 model # F7W51UA # ABA then yes.
