This monitor is for boomers. Nice, big, crisp, pleasing to the eye, and with its resolution you don't need to mess around with scaling as everything looks as it should. As for the brightness, it's too bright at 350 cd/m2. I lower the brightness below 10%. Works well in a dark room. And it doesn't look as bad as the picture another guy posted. It was either a bad record, or a reflection of the back of his room, or both. Either way, this is a solid monitor.
