A cheap Logitech H390 headset I bought in 2013 stopped working (microphone problems seem to plague Logitech devices) so I decided to take a chance and buy something new. Returned promptly same day and ordered another Logitech H390. They may not be the best, but they work VERY well and have decent durability for $20! Observations (positive): 1. Good materials and good external workmanship. Will they continue? I do not know. 2. GREAT sound4. Very nice style without being obnoxious5. Very convenient6. Excellent noise isolation (but potentially expensive - see below for details) Cons: 1. It's very warm to your ears. After wearing them for 5 minutes while testing and fitting them, my ears were uncomfortably warm and sweaty. I had to take them off for a moment. I could NEVER wear them for an hour or two. I have other headphones that completely cover the ear and don't heat at all. Something about the materials or the design makes them hot to wear.2. There is no way to turn off glowing logos unless you install Windows-only control software. Why is that? 3. Mic gain is weak even with all appropriate settings at maximum (and yes, I made sure the mic is positioned correctly and the vents are facing away from me) - New out of the box the left earbud was pulsing very high and both speakers generated white noise. Same result no matter what USB port I'm plugged into. None of the headphones I own make NO sound when plugged in in standby mode. This is probably a defect in your USB controller or other electronics in the headphones. When I discovered this I skimmed the reviews and saw that other people had the same defect AND they had a hard time getting a replacement from Razer that did NOT have this defect. At that point I decided to just return them and avoid the hassle of numerous warranty claims with no possible resolution. RAZER: YOU MUST FIX THIS QUESTIONABLE ERROR That's it. These would be really good budget headphones if it weren't for the bad electronics and a few comfort settings. What I paired them with: A mid-2015 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina and the latest version of Big Sur. All other headphones (USB or 3.5mm) will work. flawless with this machine.
