I have posterior tibial tendon dysfunction and am looking for an additional support system over my compression sock to wear under my riding boots. This ankle support felt great and I think it would have served its purpose if it wasn't for the very poorly finished end of the binding. The brace is reversible so it can be worn on either leg and the attachment part is Velcro on each side. The problem is that this section of the binding ends in a very large and bulky folded and sewn hem that sits just above the ankle. That frame creates an uncomfortable pressure line and I can't imagine wearing a shoe that goes to or covers that point. For this reason I do not recommend this product.
