I installed two of these on my snow thrower's light bar. I plow commercially and don't always know that I have enough light to see what I'm doing without turning on the headlights, and anyone who has plowed commercially is probably aware of the extra stress on the electrical system from your headlights Turning on all the time will inevitably cause some electrical problem sooner or later. These LEDs draw a lot less current from the alternator/battery system than incandescent bulbs so should be an improvement anyway. BUT. These things are so super bright that if you look straight into them, all you see for a few minutes is white splotches. Although I ordered 60 degrees which is more like FLOOD, I think the 30 degrees might have worked just as well as they are more or less point lights that shine further forward but don't shine as brightly. Scope is all your goal will be. They are housed in a very healthy and visually appealing aluminum body and are easy to install. So if you need incredibly bright light, they're worth considering.
