This is a great talking scale. I have vision problems and I have poor eyesight so I can't read the screen at any scale. With this talking scale I can check my weight. I also use it to measure the weight of heavier packages by weighing first and then weighing myself while holding the package and subtracting my weight from the combined weight of me and the package so I can ship items at the correct weight . It gives the weight twice, which I don't think is necessary, but it might be a useful feature for those who didn't hear the wait the first time. It's not very loud, but it's not quiet either. I thought it was too loud based on the reviews but the volume is perfect. But there is no way to change the volume. It weighs both pounds and kilograms, and you can use the switch on the back to switch between the two. It's easy to use. You just step on him and then walk away and he will announce your weight twice.
