So I pull the mount out, unwrap it and am very glad my mic is in place when miraculously the rubber band is a hair's breadth from clicking. I don't dare to install an expensive microphone. Very sad. That's great customer service! The shock mount met my unique microphone needs and also has multiple ports for other microphones. Great addition to my wardrobe and it looks great.
