I was hoping to find a cheaper option than the nearly $150 it now takes to replace this flimsy belt, but unfortunately it didn't work. Available, yes, but doesn't fit my watch. We all know these models have those useless straps that break, and the SAN IV seems to be one of the worst, with that extra thin piece between two metal inserts guaranteed to break. The original strap also tears at the buckle holes. abominable. But still, I was dying to add the SAN IV to my collection (we love our Invictas!) and was only able to find the one I needed on a horrible polyester strap. So, hoping for the best, I ordered a watch (model 11053 as listed here for a replacement strap) which came with a broken strap (the seller lied about the condition of the watch), managed to get it back (thanks to the eBay buyers). protection), ordered a second watch which was well received, but then the strap on that watch broke a week after wearing it, so I looked for an affordable replacement strap option and found this one. While this strap looks very well made (and much thicker at that weak point between the metal inserts), it is completely unsuitable for my watch model, despite the model listed here in the description. The holes are too far apart along the length so as you can see in the photo there is a big gap between the pieces that should fit flush with each other. Very disappointing, especially since the strap seems to be much more durable than the original. I didn't complete the installation due to an apparent poor fit. So I went ahead and ordered a ridiculously expensive replacement directly from Invicta and I hope it works. Also it will be branded Subaqua which is cool but I've already resigned myself to it breaking sooner or later lol so I decided to order a SAN IV on an SS strap as well. I see a lot of places selling fake versions of the SAN IV wristband so hopefully I can find one to have a backup for the future. Invicta really ruined those original belts! I still love this brand haha but wow they should have offered a lifetime replacement given the huge and inevitable failure rate. Nice that they fit some people. I don't think they should sell everyone the same bracelet. Disappointing. By the way, removing the original screws was a nightmare. I ended up having to rip off the original pieces of belt and then dip them in boiling water to break down the grout used at the factory. In the end, success was achieved with 15 minute periods of cooking the pieces in a pot of rapidly boiling water over high heat. So this works for anyone trying to do this. And all the screws come from every part that has ever been exposed to prolonged heat, so just for reference, that's what I found on this project. I will keep an eye out for an available replacement band that will fit. However, there is only one star for selling a product that does not match the advertised watch model.
