I like this slow feed. This was a HUGE help because a few weeks ago my cat suddenly developed a habit of gulping food (eating too quickly) to the point of throwing up several times a day. I spoke to the vet and after making sure everything was fine I decided to try the slow feed. I chose this feeder because it's the only one I've found that isn't plastic (plastic causes pimples on my girl and can easily get filled with bacteria). My only concern is that one of the other reviewers for this product said it tested positive for lead, which worries me. However, the company seems to insist that it is lead-free. I'm not sure who to believe, but based on my own research, I've found that the surest way to avoid lead (if you're unsure about the color on your dishes) is to only use kibble of this type to be used by court. . That's why I only use dry food with him and I'm very happy with the results so far. In the end I think the benefit was worth the risk (remember the company says it's lead free) because my girl lost weight quickly from vomiting so much. Since she got this bowl she can eat all her food and hasn't gotten sick at all. In fact, one day she was able to eat her food before I put it in that bowl and she got sick again. So I'm sure that bowl is important. Thanks to this product, my girl has gained all the weight she lost and I can let her eat without worry.
