Suitable for small children

My preschooler had difficulty with some of the round tip safety scissors I had previously purchased. Either cutting or maintaining a straight line was an issue, and it didn't feel like anything other than the design being chunky. With these scissors and under my supervision he was good with these scissors and they are sharp enough for him to cut straight and straight.
