Unwilling to work from home, I used an empty box from my husband's MacBook Pro as a stand for my 24 inch monitor. So it's ergonomic and more even to my eyes, so my neck and back don't hurt all day when I stare at a computer. After working remotely for a month, I decided to take the plunge and get a true permanent monitor stand that is more durable and fits my desk better. This one looked simple but functional. It has a drawer for storing pens, stickers, paperclips and small accessories. It also has another drawer that turns into a stand to put your phone or tablet. I've never seen this on other standard monitor stands so I thought it was a great feature. This comes in handy when you're watching movies or videos, or having a video conference so you can hold your phone upright and have a clear picture. Another nice feature is that it is adjustable, but only adjustable in width and height. This stand adjusts to three (3) widths. If you hold it full length and don't fold any side, the width is the longest at 20.5 inches. You can also fold just one of the sides and it will be 18.5 inches wide (this is the option I chose). Finally, you can fold both sides, and the width is 16.5 inches. This gives you more space on your desk, especially if you're short on space. It would be ideal if the height also adjusted based on the width you chose, but unfortunately it's a fixed height of 3.25 inches, which is fine. I like that since the bottom is empty I can also store other supplies like a sticker dispenser, tape dispenser, stapler etc. I also like that other supplies can be placed on top such as: B. white light and blue light. block glasses. This monitor stand is made from durable ABS plastic and can support up to 150 pounds, so it can also be used to hold small TV and printer screens without sagging. This is a beautiful monitor stand and a complete improvement over the blank cardboard I used before. Definitely looks a lot better in my office!
