I weigh 140 lbs, 36 C/D bust, 5ft 5in. I ordered M and L to be on the safe side. The average size was too small. Good quality product. However, the underbust band is too wide, so my rather voluminous bust is not supported. The pads come out and since the halter is lined it works well with or without pads. I could have asked my seamstress to tighten the belt under my chest, but then the belt gets so tight that it will be difficult for me to pull it over my head (I'm 69 years old). I often have this problem as my under bust size is small compared to my bust size. I hope this review helps potential buyers. It's very cute and the bottom fits me perfectly in the big one. It was worth a try, but I give both back.
