Bought this case together with ZtotopCase Smart Tome case. The prices for the two cases were only a few dollars apart. I'll go ahead and compare them a bit as I don't have anything else to compare this particular case to. This case significantly increases the weight of the iPad. Unlike the other case that attaches with magnets, this one has a plastic shell inside that the iPad slides into. This tray holds the iPad very firmly and the iPad is a bit difficult to insert into the tray. The case has cutouts for the microphones and small buttons for the iPad's physical buttons, making them easy to press even with the case on. The Apple Pencil can either be attached directly to the iPad or inserted into the small elastic holder integrated in the case. The Apple Pencil CAN be charged while attached to the case, but you must hold it or use another method to keep it in place. The tape holding the pen is too thick for the magnets to hold alone due to the spacing. The appearance of the case is very pleasant. I think the description says it's premium leather. I can't say it definitely is, but it definitely feels good. The iPad fits easily into each of the small cutouts for different viewing angles and is held in place nice and snug by the materials used. The grip inside is actually a handy place to hold the iPad on the surface, but I don't really like that it touches the iPad's screen without using a screen protector. All in all, this is a great case. . It fits the iPad very well and adds extra weight to it. The flip case is better because it's lighter and more portable, but I appreciate the protection and variety of viewing angles this case offers, in addition to being able to use it on a variety of surfaces (like my lap). can case size compared to the Smart Folio.
