Works great. There was a VGA adapter cable that worked before too. Connected my laptop to a monitor via a DVI port using this short HDMI adapter. And the colors and sharpness are actually better than with the VGA adapter. No more dangling cables. Simple, clean HDMI-to-HDMI connection now with accurate 1080p video from my laptop to the monitor.
