Review on Komax Containers Rectangular Spaghetti Dishwasher by Luxme Johnson

I almost returned this product because the dimensions of the product given in the product description are spot on. extremely inaccurate. I was planning on turning at least one of these containers into a small Tupperdor. The Spanish cedar grates I ordered specifically for this container are absolutely NOT suitable. The length given in the product description is 12.2 inches. I assumed these were external measurements so the bins should have been at least slightly larger than the racks I bought. However, when I received the containers, I found that my bars would not fit in at all. Measuring the container shows that its length is actually less than 12 inches. The width listed in the item description is listed as just over 4 inches wide. In fact, after measuring, it's over an inch shorter than advertised. Since the size of containers is really difficult to measure based on an image on the internet, it is very important that the dimensions are accurate. Since they're sold as (obviously dry) pasta containers, I'm a little skeptical/unsure that larger pasta will fit (like some specialty pasta, not spaghetti pasta). Since many people buy these types of bins to store a variety of items, I think the item description really needs to be updated to reflect accurate and correct dimensions. I will say that the rest of the description of the item seems correct. sure dead. It appears to be a very, very high quality product. I spent over an hour last night wandering around a few local stores to see for myself various brands of airtight containers. It's definitely a higher quality 'upscale' brand. Needless to say. I am so impressed with the quality that I have decided to cancel the return I initiated on this product and continue making my little Tupperdors. Currently. I just need to borrow a saw to cut these cedar trellis to fit.
