Review on πŸŽ₯ High-definition HDMI Capture Card: Full HD Video/Audio Capture Recorder Box for PC, Mac OS, Linux - 1080P 60fps Adapter, Game Capture Card, Live Video Capture Device by Ricky Pee

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not USB 3.0. 720p60/1080p30 works. Anything above that will work, but it's starting to get choppy.

Evidence see attachment. I used a known good USB 3.0 cable in a known good 3.0 port (I use the same cable and port for my verified 3.0 external hard drive) and it still only shows as 2.0. When I tell my PS4 to run at 720p, it maintains a smooth 60 fps. The image has no noticeable compression. Almost no input lag. But if you try to do 1080p60 you will get frame drops and bad compression. It just lacks the bandwidth. I CANNOT REPRESENT the disappointment of someone who bought this expecting a 4k60fps image from it. Yes. Maybe if you stream pong gameplay in 4k. Pretty disappointing simply because this thing doesn't introduce any latency (I've used this to stream rhythm games which are extremely sensitive to input lag - I'd note) and seems to have the juice to keep feeding. It just doesn't have a channel large enough to carry data. Doesn't the USB connector seem to be the cheapest in these things? how come Will return.
