Look unique expensive cool

I actually bought a set of four Glencairn whiskey glasses for Christmas and they are great but I really wanted them so I ordered them right after the holidays . Holiday (but before New Year). They arrived well packaged and protected so I was happy with that. They came in a nice gift box and I liked that too. The shape is appealing, they fit well in the hand and feel quite robust. I don't put these things in the dishwasher so can't comment on that, but I hand wash them and they seem to hold up as you would expect from a medium weight glass. I prefer that and I honestly use them in that configuration most of the time, or you can flip them. If you tilt them, make sure they roll (in case you can't tell by looking at them). So you need to know where you and others put them. The good news is that they "straighten out" themselves and stop low-cut side up (but in a precarious balance for the physicists reading this). The only downside I found was that the glass itself (the material, not the object) is a bit wavy if that's what you're looking for. I did this because they weren't exactly cheap so thought I'd mention it. I know nothing about glass making and whether this is normal or not and to be honest I don't really care which is why I didn't deduct a single star from this review at all. Overall I like these glasses. I'm glad I bought them even if they are expensive and I would buy them again knowing what I know now.
